Southeast ‘Nole Notes

Hey ‘Noles; YOU CAN HAVE NEXT YEAR’S BAND FEES AND TRIP PAID IN FULL .....

The Tampa Bay Rays concession program is up, running and going great. Make sure that you are a part of this new chapter in Seminole Band History! You earn money towards your account EVERY TIME you or your parents participate.  There are new games on the schedule –

**IMPORTANT:**

-Gloves and shoes will arrive on Friday!
 -Due to ordering issues, if you are a member of the pit, you MUST wear all black to the Palmetto game...you will not wear your uniforms at the game.  
-We WILL have buses for THIS game.

09/03/10  PALMETTO-1ST GAME-AWAY

4:15  Practice/Run Through:  Marching and playing outside.  MUST have Wicked Part 1 memorized!!!
5:30  Get ready for Inspection:  Hair that falls below shoulders MUST be braided in 2 braids...this goes for girls AND boys.
6:00  Inspection: (MUST have ALL of this, otherwise you will receive a demerit)
-Uniform-jacket/pants   *Pit just wear concert black.
-BLACK undershirt (until we get band shirts)
-Hat/Feather(?)
-Rubberbands for hair (if needed)
-BLACK marching shoes
-HIGH BLACK socks
-BLACK gloves (woodwinds-cut out finger holes)
-Instrument
-Orange Folder with ALL music  (Pregame, Show-Wicked-all parts, Stands, etc.) and drill.
-Flip Folder/Lyre
6:15  Bus Arrives/Load Bus
6:25 Depart for Palmetto HS
7:00 Their band will play pregame
7:30  Game Begins!   Go Noles!!!
10:30  We should arrive back at Southeast around this time...parents be here to pick up your children and thank you very much for your cooperation!



New Band Rehearsal Schedule:
Starting September 6th

3pm - 6pm Tuesday & Thursdays Rehearsals Full Band

Dance and Guard will rehearse Mondays and Thursdays from 2:45 to 6:00 and Tuesdays from 2:45 to 5:00 unless otherwise informed by your instructor.


We will Continue to work smart and hard to achieve our goal of being an outstanding program full of outstanding performers.
