| ......The Heartbeat of the Marching Seminole Band. The SEHSDL lends precision and power to the presentation of our music. They have an immense repertoire of cadences, stands beats, and exercise programs, and play cutting edge vocabulary on the field. Always first to get there and last to leave, The Line works hard to be perfectly synchronized. Auditions for this ensemble take place in May, and the group rehearses through the summer months into band camp. All musicians are encouraged to participate: it is not uncommon for double reed players and pianists to perform in the front ensemble, playing mallet instruments, electric bass and guitar, drumset and electronics. |
