| Enables students to develop knowledge in basic music structures and elements and their varied music styles and genres. The content will include rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic notation, ear training, sight reading, composition, arranging, and improvisation, harmonic structure, analysis of compositional structure and form, and the influence of history and culture.
