There is one class period for Drumline/Percussion students during the school day (the official course name is Music Techniques). This course is designed for students in Drumline/Marching Band. Students practice ALL music during this class period, depending on the time of year - Marching Band, Drumline Cadences, Percussion Ensemble, Concert Band (Wind Ensemble I + Symphonic Band II), Jazz Band (Renegade Jazz I + Cimarron Jazz II), Solo & Ensemble/In-Class Solo & Ensemble, and Symphony Orchestra.
